BayLink Remote Access Service assigns a second (or third, or fourth, etc.) telephone number to an existing BayLink Service. Telephone numbers can be in any area code serviced by BayLink.
How does it work?
Each BayLink Service includes one local telephone number. The Remote Access Service points“point” an additional number to the existing Service. Calls to any of the assigned numbers are routed to the same message box, hear the same greeting etc. This service is of particular value in large urban areas such as the San Francisco Bay area or Los Angeles with multiple area codes. The Remote Access Service makes local advertising easier and more effective and there is only one voicemail box to check for messages.
